The place is tiny and clean with modern subtle classy décor, Tables set nicely in lemon colours to coordinate with the maroon picture frames.
Service discreet and friendly customer aware and unstressed.
Food well-presented and piping hot. Mutton tender and chicken a-plenty. £9. odd for a Balti

My wife and I and a friend eat here at least once a month, sometimes more. We always take visitors and friends, who are always very positive. The food is not bland - unless you're only looking for a senselessly hot curry. A good range of dishes: varied vegetarian options, coupled with the choice of starter or main sizes. We usually choose 3 main veg dishes, 2 rice, 1 naan, which is more than enough for 3 healthy appetites. The wine list is more than adequate, with a very drinkable house red. Service friendly, even when pressed by growing takeaway service. Highly recommended.

Ate at this restaurant last saturday night, we were a party of six, all of us ate the starters and various mains. Without exception, the food was bland and tasteless.
Would not recommend.

We have been here 3 times over the last few years. Each time it has been disappointing but we have tried again cos we live very close and it would be so handy to have a good curry house down the road! But the food is mediocre at best, and the service distant. In an area which has a lot of curry houses, which vary from mediocre but better than this (eg the Rajah at the top of the High Street), to really very good (the Priya is very cheap and genuine Indian rather than Anglo, and the Forest Tandoori is an excellent Anglo-Indian), I really don't know how they survive. We won't be giving it another chance.
