Arirang

I was taken to Arirang for a first date and it couldn't have been more perfect! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. I highly recommend the set menu, as it was incredibly well priced and they just kept bringing more and more of it out! Loved it :)

Absolutely delicious food. Atmosphere and ambience could be worked on, but food compensates for it a thousand-fold. Great starters of Korean bits which you can't find anywhere else. Would definitely recommend overall.

I have been to Arirang several times and everytime it is different. The food is generally good and represented good value. The drinks are a bit over priced, when you order green tea, it would be nice to have Korean tea, not Chinese tea in a bag. The service varies from friendly and acceptable to harsh and rude. However, do go for the food, it should be noted that the Korean BBQs are pretty good and having any food cooked in front of you is something to be experienced. The portions don't look like much, but don't be fooled, it will fill you up. Not a place to romantic evenings, but gatherings for family and friends.

My friend recommended it for a catch-up dinner. We arrived and were seated downstair and after ordering our meals were moved upstairs for some unknown reason. The drinks took a little while to arrive and the staff weren't full of the joys of spring but the food was delicious! We ordered from the BBQ menu and they cooked it in front of us and added spice to our food as required. This style of eating is very enjoyable but it is definitely a sharing style of dining. I'd definitely go again.
