Having taken my team for our Christmas night out to the Maharani, we ended up walking out after 2hours 20 minutes as we had not had our main course! Our starters turned up an hour and a half after we sat down, and some of them were cold.
Whilst I accept they were busy, the staff were non communicative, and in fact ignored most of the diners, leaving the manager running around not offering any information, or apology for the lateness and general lack of any kind of customer service.
So sadly we walked out, which was a shame as the food wasn't that bad, but it the customer service was non-existent.
The restaurant was cramped and we were constantly having to move out of the way for a waiter to get past with a trolley.
Definitely will not be going there again.
