Our first experience at Da Lucio's was absolutely amazing. We arrived without a booking for Father's Day. Fortune favoured us in this full restuarant, as our experience was amazing.They were full during our time there, with regulars. I can't believe no-one has written a review of this hidden gem. The service was great, typical of a 'family owned' restuarant (although I don't know if it is). The staff were Italian and one felt as if one was being served by the family!Then the food.... it was exceptional. The best seafood risotto I have ever eaten! As a great Jamie Oliver fan, I have to say that the experience was better (sorry Jamie), than a Jamie's Italian. The affogato was incredible. Well, how difficult is an affogato? I have to say that this one left a lasting impression. Prices are not excessive, typical of a regular Italian resturant although this experience was exceptional! I look forward to a return visit and hope that it lives up to the first experience. Wendy
