Cafe Med

Food ver good s is the service an atmosphere, however was a little disappointed when my Afagato turned up. A dollop of ice cream and a hot expresso coffee. If you are offering this as a dessert then let get it right
A dollop of Vanilla Ice Cream, Hot Expresso Coffee, a shot of amaretto, and an amaretto biscuit. But other then that had a very nice birthday meal with some good company

I can remember eating at cafe Med on 5 previous ocassions. My meal 13th September 2008 was such a Bella Pasta experience that i just thought I would warn you. I felt it lacked management, staff were indifferent, wine wasn't coold, starters were flat, just way off the mark for the money.

I actually agree - we went a while ago and although I found the service good, I thought the menu was a little limited and not that great and given that, I really resented the whopping service charge they included. That said, the location is lovely just on the corner of a residential area so you can enjoy sitting outside in relative peace, away from any hustle and bustle.

The restaurant is nice enough, good outdoor area for summer dining. The service was good. The menu was varied enough for our group to find something to everyone's taste. The bill was a nasty surprise with 15% included automatically. It's good but not that good!
