Ate here recently and I have to say it was a lovely relaxed meal very well cooked and presented and the feel of the restaurant was excellent too. Just the right place for a relaxing experience in pleasant surroundings.
Located on Red Lion Street, just a stones throw from Chancery Lane and Covent Garden, Bacco is a warm and welcoming restaurant and wine bar – perfect for post-work catch-ups and pre-theatre dinners. The interior is bright and airy with smart wooden floors, leather seating and large windows creating a stylish but unpretentious space for lunch or dinner. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and will happily guide diners through the classic Italian menu. Popular dishes include pan-fried veal escalope with mixed mushroom and truffle oil; Tuscan-style pappardelle with slow-cooked hare ragout; and the delicious taglioni with scallops, cra b, garlic and olive oil. Bacco’s thoughtfully compiled wine list is a real treat for connoisseurs and wines from the various regions of Italy.
