Recognising the glitz and glamour of the Beauchamp Place, the team behind KUMO have satisfied the need for an early evening sophisticated cocktail bar and dining lounge, with the perfect setting for a tête-à-tête. The alluring background music is a hedonistic blend of Cafe del Mar and Hed Kandi style beats creating the perfect early evening mood.
The staff bestow a warm welcome to the mixed clientele of local socialites and fashionista attracted by the low lit/comfy seating, highly cushioned “mood zone”. Kumo is open from early evening right through to the early hours of the morning, by which time the mood has kicked into another realm, induced by alluring tunes that move to dance-inspiring grooves.

Well renowned bar and club designer Lee Broom has consulted on the design for Kumo Knightsbridge to create an intimate, stylish venue with some interesting design features. Lee Broom recently voted the 10 most important people in the industry and also short listed for The Observer "top 500 to watch" list.
KUMO – FOOD & DRINKS
Award winning cocktail impresario Douglas Ankrah, creator of the Porn Star Martini and author of the internationally acclaimed ‘Shaken & Stirred has devised a sublime Japanese influenced cocktail list for Kumo. The menu also includes a number of contemporary variations on the classic cocktails along with some exotic Champagne cocktails. Kumo pays special attention on training our bartenders to consistently provide our amazing cocktails.
Highlights of the cocktail menu include:
• Lotus Martini
Grey Goose Orange, Wokka Saki, green apple, lychee and lemon juice, Kwai Fei Lychee Liqueur and fresh ginger all shook up, served in a large martini glass.
• Affectionate Squeeze
Bacardi 8yr Old Rum, Peach liqueur, lime and guava juice, married up with Calpico
• Smiling Assassin
A good measure of Hendricks gin, cherry, lime and golden apple juices, shaken with homemade red chilli sugar, sealed with St Germain elderflower liqueur and served tall
Consultant Chef Nasa Laziri, formerly of Zuma, has collaborated with resident Chef Yuka Aoyama, formerly of Nobu, to bring together a short, sweet, must-have menu focussing on a selection of the best of London’s favourite Japanese dishes.
The food menu features mouth watering delicious dishes like; spicy Hibachi chicken with coconut, chilli & lemongrass; chicken yakitori skewers; steak served with a spicy sesame soya sauce, Spider soft shell crab rolls and hand rolled sushi.
Venue Hire: Hosting great private parties, corporate events, providing the best DJ’s and creating the best ambience is essential for us at Kumo.
