This restaurant is not much to look at from the outside, in fact I've avoided going into it many times and headed into the Dolphin instead but last night I thought I'd give it a try and I was very pleasantly surprised.
It's lovely inside, nice decor, checked table cloths and an extra selection of wine lining the walls, which you can take your pick from. There's also a little bar where a few locals came and sat for a quick drink.
The food was delicious. I had bruschetta, lobster ravioli and tiramisu and enjoyed every mouthful. The staff were really friendly and helpful but also have u

Popped in here on the off chance last night after a long day, and was completely delighted. Friendly staff, nice unpretentious menu and beautiful homemade food - ciabatta, pasta etc all from scratch. Delicious and traditional, including checked tablecloths. Hurrah! What more could you want?

Great Italian restaurant in Sydenham. Been going here with our expanding family for years, but only just thought about sharing the secret, so sorry if you've not found this place yourself yet! You're in for a treat!
There's always a warm welcome, the food is fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. Free parking behind shops too. Very child friendly, our kids love the Pizza Bambino (yummy pizza made in shape of animal head! Great idea!) Family run business, they really take the time to treat customers individually - would definitely recommend a visit....or ten!
I'm always a bit cynical about reviews that sound so good (like this!) ....but I'm not related or employed by the restaurant, I'm just a very impressed customer hoping you'll love it too! Enjoy!

lovely food and wines along with a friendly and very warm welcome make this an ideal place to spend a few hours for either lunch or dinner. highly recomend the saltimboca, and the lasagne and a glass or two of house red make a more than satisfying lunch.value for money? 10 out of 10

This is an excellent Italian restaurant, very friendly and with excellent food. I can particularly recommend their lobster pasta. Prices are reasonable and there ia a good range of wines
