Al Mirage

well after a family dinner out with my in laws i will not be visiting them again. I was told the service and food is great so i decided to take my in laws out for treat but what can i say it was not what anyone would have expected. the food was cold by time it got to the table, the waiters were not organised i think they need more customer service training. thew seekh kebabs were not cooked properly and the ones that were they were slightly burnt so not happy with presentation. if i was to visit to them next i will go by with just my husband and not the family. The decor is quite nice i must say gives u a good atmosphere.

Al Mirage was recommended to me by my work mates who couldn't stop talking about how fresh and delicious the food was here. I went there on Saturday with my boyfriend and found the place very busy at 8 O'clock. We got a table upstairs after a 5 minute wait. When the food came I was amazed at the aroma of the mixed grill which came to the table on platters. Their fish is so delicious, I believe it is cod.
The decor is beautiful and has been been well thought through. I think this is the only Pakistani restaurant that serves "freshly squeezed juices" and also fresh coffee and cappacinos.

We both enjoyed our evening and the staff were very pleasant and helpful despite it being busy. WE WILL BE GOING BACK! Try for yourself. I believe it is definately the best Asian restaurant in Tooting much better than the overhyped Mirch Masala and Lahore Karahi.
