We went to this restaurant few days ago,food is nice and enjoyed it but to our surprise we were asked to pay by cash ,we thought that the credit card machine is not working but to our surprise next table paid by credit card and when we asked why we they asked us to pay in cash,the answer that the owner wants customers to pay by cash.Our friends had similar experience to ours.
Is the owner trying to avoid paying tax due OR he/she can explain this to convince us. Shame if that is the case as I felt that we encouraging people like this is definitely wrong and we and our friends will not go there again.

One of the best venue to enjoy Persian meals served by extremely polite staff. The food is prepared almost without faty oils that is also drained out from the kebabs. Diverse range of genuine Persian food, and music. Ask them to play "Soghati" (sounds So-Gati) by "Haa-eee-deh" to enjoy the musical taste, recommended by Daa-eee SPS Parveez Soghati!

The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and hard working. The decoration is very Persian. We have recommended the restaurant to friends and people at work and they seemed to enjoy the food when they visited the restaurant. We recommend this restaurant to others too.

The food was lovely and the decor and atmosphere brilliant. The service was slow however. We probably waited about 20 minutes until we were served. We also ordered a drink which didn't arrive. The staff were friendly and apologised when this was pointed out. It doesn't serve alcohol, but people did bring their own wine and spirits. Another nice restaurant in South Croydon.

Went to this restaurant as reviews were good. Unfortunately the service and lack of food wasn't. We never actually got served any food after 1 hr 30 mins of waiting, even though everyone else did, even those who arrived after us. We asked the waitress where our food was politely (after an hour) with the response "I don't know I don't work in the kitchen"! Even after that response we still waited patiently but gave up after the hour and a half. We left money for our drinks on the table and they then actually slammed the door shut on us! I wouldn't have minded if we were rude but we weren't. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This sounds like the 3 girls on the table next to us, perhaps it was you as I did notice you waited long ans seemed patient. Nevertheless we on the other hand have been served very well by Mona who is a very efficient waitress and enjoyed the food, the only downside was they dont have a decent wine opener not glass wine glasses which isnt good. On the whole I like the restaurant.

Sarah DD's experience is not typical of any of my visits to Paradise Garden. I have always had attentive and friendly service and extremely fresh food. There has always been a pleasant family atmosphere.

Went for a friends birthday, was empty when we arrived. We gave our order at 7.30. The restaurant started to get busy, everyone got their meals before us. We asked at 8.30 where our meals were and why it was taking so long, the waiter said "I dont know, I dont work in the kitchen". We watied until 9.00 and had to walk out. We stood by the door and the waiter came and slammed the door on us! Never been to this restaurant before but we were absolutely appauled by the service. They didnt even offer us an explanation as to why we were the last receive our meals, which we didnt actually get in the end. I will NEVER recommend this place to any of my friends.

The food is tasty and good value.
The starters are really nice, houmous and aubergine with hot baked flat bread.
Try the persian tea.
I've never been to a Persian restaurant before, it was very nice.
If you like Turkish food, you'll like Persian food.

Amazing restaurant, delicious authentic food and reasonable price. I have no complaints, the staff were very friendly and my only regret is that I didn't finish my food as the portion was massive. Luckily I am returning there for my birthday :)
I recommend the chicken wings, baba ghonoosh for starters, the chello kebab koubideh, behesht salad, nan for main. for dessert faloode.

Took my 2 teenage sons there today for lunch.A very friendly greeting, service was prompt and efficient and drinks served nice n quick.Interesting decor, with unique windows!! Be warned-starter portions of fantastically fresh salads are enormous-good idea is to split and share. Nan bread is made before your eyes and is mahoosive and utterly addictive. We had a selection of mixed grills served with rice and yet more salad and a tiny jug of a very moreish sweet and hot sauce.
As first time visitors we stayed relatively conservative with the menu-there is lots to explore and we fully intend to!

The quality of foods is perfect with a resonable prices. A lovely place to go and experince an Iranian delicious foods.
