O Moinho

Having lived in Portugal some years ago we vist London several times a year to sample Portuguese fayre. The visit to O Moinho was prompted by a visit to this site and the ratings other visitors have left. We were disapponted that a cataplana seafood dish was not available. I wanted a baccalau dish and chose baccalhau com natas, a dish I have had on numerous occasions. Whan the manager arrived I expressed disappoinment that the cataplana was unavailable but we were pleased when he offered to cook us the dish. The food was the best we have ever had in England and rivals most we had when living in Portugal. If you are undecided give it a try. Apart from the quality it is interesting to note that the bill was less than it had been in many of the Portuguese restaurnts in the capital and the service was unrivalled.
