Angela Hartnett’s career has been meteoric. From being Gordon Ramsay’s protégée to becoming the first female running the restaurant at the Connaught Hotel (Hélène Darroze has since replaced her), she went on to open her flagship eatery Murano. Ramsay’s York & Albany in Camden followed, as well as consulting on the menu at the Whitechapel Gallery Dining Room.
At Murano Hartnett takes inspiration from her Italian heritage to create contemporary Mediterranean dishes like pheasant Anjou pigeon with pistachio and grilled foie gras, and sea bass with gnocchi, vanilla and apple puree.
