The saffron Club , another fantastic meal, why is life so good! Eating is such a joy here. Post xmas bills, cold winds, rain dark-at-4pm more rain, people sneezing everywhere...hmm ...we needed the sun, till the sun the saffron will have to do!

Such a good winning move as in chess, warm welcome, visually mouthwatering beautifully presented eat-me fare, cold beer.good wines at decent prices, thanks Saffron.

Best bit, cosmopoliton mixture of cultures or what 'Burns Curry night' was being advertised ! The free whiskey on offer ensured that we booked.

I had a touch of the in-laws visiting soon rash coming out, so before the due day I wanted some gastric tlc.Having read so many reviews about the Saffron Club about how good the food is ...

This was a gem of a find, the place was packed,we had not booked but were still treated like royalty. We ate as much as savages, the waiters were attentive but distant, the wine at a sensible price and the food beautifully presented and spiced perfectly.

The Saffron certainly did justify its reputation. They are doing things right, good food, good service.Keep it up Saffron.I booked a friends' birthday dinner that night for 12.
Fortified I would welcome anyone now!

Saffron , best indian in the south east by a country mile.I dont normally write reviews, but we had an amazing lamb briyani, the meat platter was rather good too! Good selection of wines, always a plus.

Saffron club serves the most agreable meat platter that i have eaten. It was a visual delight and almost tasted better. The lamb tender, the chicken braised to perfection in the tandoor, dal makhani a treat and the nepalese hariyali chicken spiced to a tee.A lovely meal, certainly the best outside the city. Not your usual curry house, not oily, greasy, saffron's boast is good food for good times. We certainly did!
This is a" must go" place.
