| About Frankliz: | The Crafts Council's goal is to make the UK the best place to make, see, collect and learn about contemporary craft. We provide an information service for anyone interested in contemporary craft and we research, through partnership, the contemporary craft sector to provide a national and regional overview and to highlight current issues. We manage our own Collection of crafts objects and publish Crafts Magazine six times a year. We run schemes to support both emerging and established makers and curators, and create conferences and seminars to encourage debate and share best practice. We produce a programme of high-level events for makers to showcase and sell their work directly to the public. |
