AWFUL experience and AWFUL food!!!!! Food was lukewarm and bland. The hot and sour soup and extremely sour. Sweet corn soup was extremely runny and tasted like salt water. Rice and noodle dishes were dry and tasteless. Ordered an array of meat dishes including sizing beef, chicken in green peppers and black bean sauce, chilli beef. All either extremely salty or bland. Had to drink a lot of soft drinks and water to quench the salty taste. I know the Chinese restaurants are not renowned for their friendly service - but there should be some understanding that if you are charging high prices and marketing yourself as a top restaurant then you do have some responsibility to offer a decent level of service and edible food. All our dishes arrived at the same time 25 mins after ordering - and the bill arrived without asking – I feel as though we were pushed out the door. |
