Tinello is run by brothers Federico and Max Sali, originally from Tuscany. After moving to London Max worked at Chez Nico before joining his brother at Zafferano to work with Giorgio Locatelli. When Locatelli opened Locanda Locatelli they followed, Federico as head chef and his brother as sommelier.
Locatelli also helped to fund Tinello. This may be the brothers’ first restaurant but it’s highly accomplished, and surprisingly different to their former workplace – this is a far more understated affair. The menu shows great knowledge of Tuscan cuisine, and numerous wines are available by the glass.
