Have eaten here with a group of friends every couple of months or so for the last couple of years and we've never had a bad meal.Good menu selection and value, great food and generous portions.
The service is shocking. The owner/ waiter shouted at me when I asked where my drink was as he had started to take over the drinks for the other table (there were only 2 tables sat) which had arrived 20 mins after us. My sister wanted to leave as soon as she saw the toilets and I wish we had. As I asked where my drink was he was extremely rude and told us to leave, that he makes enough money and doesn't need our custom. Which I doubt as there was only one other table seated. The worst service of my life! With so many other places to eat in the area, there is no need to go here. Appaling.
I have been going to Rajput for many years. My dining experience has always been pleasurable. The food and service is always excellent. However, their delivery is always busy and could take more than an hour. But the food is always worth the wait. I've even had an experience with the collection, du
Please don't go to restaurant it's got the worst service I've had in my life. I had booked for a birthday dinner and we where treated like unwelcome guests. The waiter refused to take our kids order until the whole party was ready to order. when we question how long it would be until our food would be ready an hour later we where then screamed at by what I think was the manager from the other side of the restaurant that we had to wait for 20 mins more and that our food had to be cooked in a very sarcastic mannor! On this note my motherin law said she felt like a second class citizen as we all did so we made the collective dision to leave.
I have been to RayPut a few years ago and was happy with the service I got; however I would not recommend that place to anyone. When you go out the service plays a big part of the day so don't go there it will def mess up your night and my the sound of it the take away service is just as bad. 
The staff and management at this restaurant are rude and incompetent. I ordered food and waited an hour and a half before I called to query when it was being delivered. I was told that someone had come to my house twice already and the door had not opened, despite me giving two contact phone numbers and being home the whole time. When I called again, i was given no explanation other than being told that the guy had been to my house already. I called for a third time and was told the guy would be there soon. Finally the delivery guy calls and says he's at my house, i open the door and surprise surprise no ones there. Completely useless service, and the management seem just as bad. Last time I order from rajput.
The food here is good however the delivery service is shocking. I ordered a delivery on the basis that it would arrive within 45 minutes. It arrived 1hr 40 minutes later and they forgot the starter which they didn't offer to deliver instead refunded the cost of this. I then realised I had been over charged. After taking all the details from me I got passed to someone else who decided the pricing I had was wrong even though I had taken it from their website, insisting it had just changed and was on there printed menus which were new but yet they hadn't delivered me a copy of! It seemed to me that they couldn't be bothered to rectify their mistakes. As mentioned before the food is good but there are plenty of Indian restaurants of similar quality without the hassle.
Simply the best curry house i have tried in London, including the Start Of India in South Ken. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating and the food is consistently excellent. If you want a decent starter I highly recommend the King Prawn Puree. We now have 2 children so dont eat out often but order a takeaway every friday. As a result whenever our doorbell rings at the weekend our two year old always gets very excited saying its "the curry man" and demands to go to the door to greet him and have a chat, which they are always happy to do.
Please do not give your money to this company. I ordered a takeaway at 7.30pm and after several phone calls and the telephone being put down on me! no food arrived. I got a call at 10.10 pm from the delivery driver informing me that my food would be with me in 10 mins !!? These people are both arrogant and rude and they do not care about their customers. Waiting for a refund now.
I've just waited 2 hours for a takeaway delivery. Called several times and promised various delivery times. Then told the car had broken down. At the 2 hour point I asked for a partial refund. I was told not possible cancel or pay in full. Also told I couldn't speak to the manager, because he wasn't there, despite the fact that the reason the refund wasn't allowed was he said so (to a previous customer earlier that night apparently).
I don't believe a word I was told and will never, ever use again. Not recommended for customer service!
This place is great! I've been eating there on and off (mostly takeaways) for about seven years and it's consistently excellent.
My recommendation is the truly stunning Achari Chicken Tikka Masala (don't be put off by the poor Chicken Achars you may have eaten in inferior curry houses). The Methi Gosht and Butter Chicken are also excellent as is, well, everything.
Oh, and very friendly service.
