 We ate at the Agra this week. The Mutton Madras was fantastic, extremely tender meat, the Chicken Tikka was the best I've ever tried! We experienced good service with very attentive waiting staff. An added bonus was the delightful lady who was front of house, she was very friendly and took time to ensure that our young daughter understood the menu. She also took great pride in telling us that the restaurant has been running for 53 years!! The only downside to our visit was the bathroom facilities, very much in need of updating - however this would not prevent a return visit to Agra's. This is an excellent Indian restaurant with brilliantly cooked nan and tikka dishes as well as a full catalogue of Northern Indian dishes as its name, Agra, implies. I have been going there for years and took a picky and demanding American Professor of Astrophysics from New York University recently. He was delighted and proceeded to ensure he took his friends THERE. Cheaper and more friendly than most places in London when you want to meet someone and have a good meal. |
