The concept behind this restaurant is an upscale Southwest American kitchen featuring flavours from States like Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico. The menu pairs vibrant flavours with the best of of the UK’s local and seasonal ingredients. We are excited about taking a rustic homestyle dish and turning it on its head.
While our flavours pull from outside the UK the ingredients are decidedly British and locally sourced. The Lockhart is dedicated to making use of Britain’s vast array of high quality, seasonal ingredients at every opportunity.
Head Chef Andrew Justice, a quarter finalist of Master Chef the professionals 2010, has worked with the team to create The Lockhart’s twist on Southwest US. Also at the helm is, General Manager, Bunmi, previously manager at LIMA and maitre d’ at the Michelin-star restaurant Dinner by Heston Blumenthal.
The restaurant has been set up by two Texan couples, Gwen and Chris Wren and Shelby and Dunny Wanstrath. After living in London for many years, the four are excited about pursuing their dream to own a restaurant and showcase their native cuisine.

Yeeee-haaaa!
It is located on Seymour Street (Seymour Skinner, anyone?), it has a head chef from Mississippi and a stripped back aesthetic chic ripped from so many NYC bars; this place couldn’t get more American. Shrimp and grits washed down with Mezcal and Lone Star beer is a pleasure here.
