LAGU is a very special kind of place. Easy to find, this café nestles on Lavender Hill. A calm and tranquil space where you can take time out from the hustle and bustle of city living . Great food and drinks are served that are not just delicious, they’re good for you; everything served and on the menu has been carefully considered and developed to provide a perfect optimal balance of nutrition and taste. But then this would be easy when you consider Lagu’s heritage.

When Atsuko opened the café’s doors, she did so inspired by her Father and Grandfather who for many years ran a hotel in Tokyo. Growing up in such an environment taught Atsuko many things about not just food but the pleasure of serving the local community. A café of her own soon became her childhood dream and Lagu is that dream realized.

It’s a place to take a moment, refresh yourself and enjoy food that nourishes as well as tastes great. But there’s more to Lagu than just the café. Atsuko’s dream was also to provide a comfortable space where people to come and enjoy all manner of complementary therapies from massage, reflexology to Reiki and osteopathy; all provided by recognized and qualified practitioners.
