I've been coming here on and off for years. Pizza or pasta dishes are about £11, or a "main" dish (swordfish, steak etc) around the £18 mark.

I've seen the comments about the service here, but I've never had a problem.

Only issue really is wine. Expect to pay £18+ per bottle. Otherwise g

Good food shame about the service! The most unhelpful and uninterested waiting staff I have ever had the misfortune to be served by. No one bothered asking for coats and jackets,no one bothered giving us menus we had to ask, we had to ask to order,we had to ask again for menus for desserts and ask again if we could trouble them to order the desserts. They were not that busy spent most of the time doing nothing. I think they are going for the supermarket self service business model.

Thankfully the laziness of the staff was rewarded as they forgot to charge us for the desserts. I'm sure if we walked out without paying they would not have noticed.
The photographs on the walls were also amusing. A very large photo of the owner and Peter Andre. WOW ! A Z list celebrity eats there! So cool. I am sure Simon Cowell will be pleased his photo is alongside the great Peter Andre!

If you like Italian food, you'll like this. The food comes in large portions, while the taste is not lost. I had the butterfly prawns in spaghetti (try it!) and it was fantastic. The staff are also very genuine and friendly, a nice change from the usual.
And for the price conscious such as myself, it is very reasonably priced.
I aren't from London, but next time I go back I will most definitely be making another visit to Sergios. Highly recommended.

Great food, friendly staff, and well priced. Being somewhat of a foodie myself, I would recommend this to anyone, and will be coming back again!

I went here recently and must say, it was fantastic.
The staff are freindly, they come across as genuinely friendly, they give recommendations to dishes etc.
The food comes in massive portions, which for me, being a regular eater in London, is a nice change change from the small, tidy portions I am used to. Not only this, but the food tastes brilliant.
All this, and the pricing is very reasonable. I cannot find any complaints.
I highly recommend this place, try it now!

Such an incredible RIP OFF. Really mediocre 'italian' food, yet unfeasibly expensive. Avoid at all costs.

Beware the loaded dice the pushy waiters there will try and push in your direction. You have to be on guard for the sting of the hidden costs added on to inflate your
bill to astronomical proportions at the end. Reccomended dishes double the price, mediocre wine at £25 a bottle are just two of the scams used to cynically pounce on what should be a special occasion and it's not in the spirit of a venue where you feel you can relax and enjoy your food. When the bill came for our table it was inflated to well over £100 its natural worth because we accepted a few of the specials on reccomendation and paid the cost. And we even avoided a few we were aware of too so be careful here. I thought these kind of scams were the preserve of seedy Soho dens full of grubby old pervs in dirty macs getting inflated charges for a can of coke when they get up to leave. The same principles are evident here which is why I'd avoid this restaurant like the plague unless you're rich enough not to care how much 'extras' are being added on to your astronomical bill that will be well above and beyond the value of the average fare on offer here.

I was there a few nights ago, we were in London for a girly weekend and went in for a quick bite to eat, we were welcomed and nothing was a problem we only wanted to share a pizza. We had a pizza which was really very tasty. We had lots of fun with the waiters, Costa knows what he is doing when it comes to his work. We then went and got ready for a night out and we got asked to go back when we were ready and we ended up staying most the evening and had a fantastic time and we ate pasta later the prawn pasta is to die for very tasty. A fantastic night, very reasonably priced cant wait to go back.

COULD be an OK place, with reasonable food, but I find the staff very surly, to the point of being extremely rude !

Not a welcoming establishment at all, wasnt a particulary busy day either (Thursday evening)

Everything seemed a big effort for the staff !

I was visitng from Dallas, TX. when I happened on La Caricatura in Mayfair and met Costa who also is associated with Sergios. The food at La Caricatura was fabulous and casual. The next night I ate at Sergio's. Costa treated us like royalty, despite being from Texas LOL, and the food was outstanding. The seafood pasta was so fresh I thought I was sitting in a restaurant in Capri. Everything is fairly priced, fresh, and quite tasteful. Their red sauces are the best outside of Italy. I know the waiters can be a little overbearing but it reminded me of restaurants in Little Italy in NYC. Most of the time the waiters are kidding around.
Besides the great Indian and Lebanese food in London, this and La Caricatura were 2 fabulous finds for a delicious, fairly priced meal.

A regular haunt. Costa and all the waiters are extremely attentive and good fun. The menu, wine and portions are first class. Everyone I have introduced Sergios to have gone back. Just booked our Xmas lunch. Top place give it a try. The PB4.

I was one in a party of ten. The waiter was ebullient and seemed to know his stuff. I selected veal milanase from the menu and asked him if it came with a side dish of spaghetti with a neopoloitan sauce as is often the case. The waiter affirmed that he knew that it should come with this accompianment so I took that as a yes. When the dish arrived to my horror it came with a large helping of brussel sprouts (which I loath), new potatoes, peas and carrots and definately no spaghetti or even some salad. I was very disappointed and duly remonstrated with the same waiter who just shrugged his shoulders and said that is how it came! I was part of large group of celebrating people who to be fair had no complaints with their main courses. I didnt wish to any way spoil their evening and so took it no further however I just thought what a shame it could have been so much better.

I have just had a lovely lunch at Sergio's.

We were able to sit outside and still enjoy the atmosphere with the added bonus of the sunshine.

The pasta and HUGE prawns were to die for.

The waiters were friendly, relaxed but still attentive.

Well done Sergio's, thank you for a very nice start to my week!!!

I would like to say that I had a delightful time in Sergios restaurant. Myself , my boyfriend and the couple we dined with were treated with exceptionally good service attentive but not pushy. As a birthday celebration we were presented with a free but jolly good bottle of champagne!
In fact it was a real pleasure to dine in a place where the prawns are as enormous as the welcome we received(huge!)
This is a real find perhaps it is better to dine here in the evening in regards to the other comments. We will be returning tomorrow night for another fabulous and incredibly tasty italian meal.
My compliments to the chef and to the entertainment of the owner playing us a tune or two on his guitar
All in all would thoroughly recommend this place.
I would also like to add that although there were two extremely well known film stars in there whilst we dined. They were clearly treated with the utmost discretion and were made to feel part of the crowd too.
A tremendously authentic and thoroughly unmissable place!
Thus the fact we return tomorrow and probably again and again.
Sergios Rocks.

Just back in the office after lunch at Sergio's. I have to say, I'm not very impressed. When we sat down, the rather pushy waiter said he would bring some water to us - no discussion of how many bottles etc and before we knew it we had a £24 entry on our bill for water. 8 bottles - £3 each. When questioned, we were told the price of water hasn't gone up in 8 years.

We ordered a bottle of wine and were told the Pinot was better for the same price but when the bill came, the price charged was a lot higher than expected.

I also had a pleasant surprise in my vegetarian lasagne - a whole cockleshell which fortunately I found before I took a mouthful. I drew (a different) waiter's attention to this and he was very good and said he would speak to the manager but the full price of my meal appeared on the bill at the end.
Apart from the cockleshell, the food was very good but I wont be returning to Sergio's any time soon. All very pleasant until the bill arrives and there are unexpected items boosting the price up.
A real shame. We were a party of 9 and we work nearby so could have become regulars. As it is, I will just advise people NOT to go there.

This restaurant has PR's outside trying to entice you in. I'm normally put off by this bit went in anyway with work colleagues to have lunch.
Upon sitting down the waiter came running up to us saying "bottle of wine yes?" when we declined a bottle but said we'd have two glasses instead, he ran off and produced two very small glases of rose for us.
When we checked the bill at the end, they had charged us a shocking £6.50 a glass - for a very cheap rose in a very small glass. Then added service onto this price too! This was the most expensive glass of wine I'd ever drunk! Consdering the bottle itself probably cost the restaurant about £3 it's shocking they con their customers into ord

Great place.

Pasta's are brilliant, steaks to die for.

Lots of fun.

No-one will go home hungry from this one, old style portions.

My wife loved it too.

Sergio's is a lovely restaurant with great atmosphere and more importantly great food. I had a pizza to die for but that is not all they do. The specials looked amazing as well!
