Ishbilia
Lebanese Restaurant in Knightsbridge
Ishbilia serve a variety of Lebanese dishes at their restaurant and can cater for private parties of up to 100 guests upon request. They have live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Seating on the pavement area is provided, weather permitting.
Although the tabbouleh and fatoush salads were great, not a single meat dish was satisfactory. The chicken was dry and tough, the kofte was bland and dry. None of the meat was served at the right temperature. The Halloumi cheese was bad quality and improperly grilled. The moutabbal was an insult to my favorite Lebanese dip - it was actually inedible. Ambient temperature too hot - flies in the dining area. Worst Lebanese meal over 20 pounds in London.
I went to Ishbilia restaurant with my family and friends (9 in total)last weekend. We arrived there at 8pm and the place was packed.
The waiter offered us a set menu for £35 but we decided to order from menu.
I was impressed with mixed grill I ordered for my main course. The meat was tender and succulent, definitely better than any other Lebanese resturant I have been in London. We were given salad, haloumi cheese and arabic desert on the house.
The staff were quite friendly and helpful and the service was quick.
Overall, I had very good experience and would like to recommnend Ishbilia as the best Lebanese restaurant in London.
