The restaurant is long and narrow and decorated attractively in an exotic Kasbah style. We shared a variety of vegetarian meze for starters, which included falafel, houmous, borek (little triangular parcels of feta and parsley) cacik (cucumber, garlic and yoghurt) and bean salad, all of which were delicious and surprisingly filling. For my main course I plumped for vegetarian mousakka which was very tasty. I was rather full by desert but managed some lovely milk pudding. The wine flowed freely, and when the waiters learned it was my birthday I was brought a flaming shot of sambuca to drink, and we were all asked to get up on our chairs and dance.
