Alfonso Lillo Fas is the exciting new chef that has hot-footed his way from Spain to run the The Cavendish and serve up exquisite, Spanish and modern European food in a friendly, but high-class setting in the heart of London's Marylebone.
Trained at El Bulli under world renowned head chef Pablo Montoro, Alfonso has since earned many awards and accolades in his own right and will source the freshest ingredients from Europe to create modern dishes with a crisp, simple style.
The smart 1940’s gentleman’s style interior design was carefully crafted and created by Concorde Interior Design who have designed the likes of Tom’s Kitchen, The Botanist, and Copita.

London best bars for after work drinks
Who can resist after work drinkies?
This bustling bar used to be a pub cum Spanish restaurant called The Fat of the Land, and while the new venture has a Spanish chef formerly from El Bulli at the helm, the menu has been given a revamp and a price hike, now offering modern European cuisine. The stylish 1940s décor remains unchanged however, as does the bar’s popularity in the evenings.
