I THOROUGHLY recommend Salsar! I've been going to this restaurant for takeaways, maiinly, but also to eat in occasionally, for over 20 years. They NEVER disappoint. Delicious food, freshly cooked, large portions, and always served with a smile and friendly manner. I have just moved a bit further away but, despite being across the road from two different chippies, I continue to go to Salsar. It has, in the last couple of years, changed hands, and used to be called George's, but is still run by the same family. Just a change from the old guard!
