We are Americans visiting London. Pierino is charming with a lot of tables crammed into a small (but comfortable) space. The food ranged from very good to truly excellent. Specially recommended is the buffalo mozzarella salad, which was large enough for two and came with a mix of fresh warm and cold items and excellent balsamic vinegar and EVOO. We also had very good fusili with pancetta and linguini with Mediterranean seafood. Finally, a very good espresso, excellent latte, and a fine cannoli. Diners were a complete mix; some families, some 20's couples, some 60's, like us.

I was in a dash and real rush! I had come for the day to London with my mum on a coach and we had to leave at 5.50pm sharp we needed dinner and I didn't want KFC or Mcdonalds I wanted Pasta so what did I do? I ran across from Natural history museum spotted Pret a Manger and realised there was a little oasis of diverse restaurants I then seen the italian knew time was of the essence and I didn't want typical take a way food so I hopped in and asked if it was possible to have it take away? the polite may I say charming waiter said " why of course heres a menu please have a look and take a seat! So there I sat a little wafe inside this warm comforting homely yet sophisticated little Italy and I wanted a carbonara so I asked if they had tagietelle he said yes and pointed out the options and said you can change the sauce to your liking so I said can I have cream he said of course and told me it would be about 7 or 8 minutes I waited and he offered me a drink I simply wanted tap water ( SERVED WITH SLICE OF LEMON AND ICE=FREE) I even learnt a quick bit of Italian by asking the waiter how to say things in Italian but I soon forgot when I left which is why I am going there for my Birthday on 29th June this year :)I would seriously recommend this restaurant my carbonanra had sugar snaps, peas, red peppers, green peppers, yellow peppers, green beans, parmasan and green and white tagietelle the salad consisted of lettece tomatos red lettece rocket and salad dressing! Delicious !!!!!!!! :D ENJOY

This is a hidden gem. High quality Italian at moderate prices. Specials are always interesting and great. Seafood linguini(cartoccio) is my favorite. Fish is always fresh and cooked perfectly. Pizza is as good as Napoli , Service is constantly good. Mangia.

We arrived on a very busy lunchtime, glad we had booked in advance. Given the crowd, the serivice was very good and the superb food arrived very quickly. Our children were well looked after, as one would expect from Italians. Tha Calamari starter went down well as did the Pizzas and the Chicken with roasted vegetables. Even with a bottle of very nice house white the bill for 4 was only £70. Very reasonable!

This is a nice little Italian restaurant in the heart of South Kensington. We go there from Imperial College and the food and service has always been good and the bills acceptable.
