Went there with my friends for a birthday dinner and it was absolutely bad food comparing to other Moroccan restaurants, it felt like the food was cooked days before and it was only warmed up to service.
The service itself is bad as most of the stuff don't speak english
I strongly don't recomand this restaurant.

I was almost put off by the previous review as it is totally rubbish. I took my wife to Maghreb last night, 21st Feb 2009, for dinner as part of a weekend in London for her birthday.

Far from one waiter, the staff numbered around 5 attending tables, all friendly and smiling and explained the dishes very well.

The fact that the restaurant was full to bursting and no one was complaining, plus the meal we had was the best I've had outside Morocco itself and North African restaurants in France and Spain speaks volumes.

We both had the two course set menu with starter and main course. My wife had a very tasty vegetable tajine and I had a beef meatball version.

Thoroughly recommended.

We dined here last evening (15 Sept 08) and the food was great but our waiter was the most miserable waiter I've ever had! The only time he was pleasant was when it came to paying i.e. tip time! He couldn't even muster up a smile when we arrived and had a real issue with us wanting to hang on to the lid of the tangine dish to keep our dish warm!?!
