We opted for the 7.90 buffet up the stairs to a gloomy back room. The room was filthy as was the cutlery. The food was lukewarm and they replenished the food directly from washing up bowls right in front of you. Staff were rude and they need to take your money immediately upon sitting down! This should have been a clear warning to us! Environmental Health really need to go this place and take a look. No change is given. Staff were rude. The tables were also filthy, the buffet menu did not match the buffet food and was not labelled. Therefore you did not know what you were eating. We ate very little and we didn't sleep that night through fear of food poisoning. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I visited here on 28th January and was absolutely appalled. The food was disgusting I couldnt eat for fear of food poisoning. The service was non-existent,very rude waiters. There was mould growing on the walls. The toilet was unusable-floor covered in urine, smelling awful.took money before serving food but gave no change or refunds for food that could not be eaten and drinks that never came. The tables were dirty as was everything.Food for the buffet was replenished using washing up bowls that were then used to collect dirty plates, etc.I hoped this was a one-off bad experience but looking on the internet I discover many reports saying the same.Dont go!!

this was the worst eaterie experience ever the service was v poor, waiter asked for money upfront(£19)took ages to bring a plate 4 food (buffet), longer for drink, staff ignored requests from customers for service. they refused to give change despite a significant difference btween charge and money given. whole place dirty/greasy/mouldy,tables were crammed in. many customers asked for refund some b4 they had eaten or drinks been served they were refused. the food was scarily inedible, i was 2 afraid of food poisoning to eat it. i didnt ask 4 refund as they clearly had no intention of giving it. environmental health or some1 needs 2 do a spot check. they give london/chinatown bad name.

Whilst on London tour with my friend, we visited this restaurant. There were 3 levels: Expensive, Moderate, Cheap. As we were on tight budget we chose the cheap £4.90 buffet, and it was terrible. The tables and other surfaces were greasy as was the food and plates when they arrived 20 minutes after ordering & paying. Very dissatisfied with the quality, Mr Wu around the corner offer a better eating experience for 5p more.
