Simply amazing food! 8 years in Colliers wood and its a regular treat. I recommend the mixed grill with a side of vindaloo sauce. Sublime.

Hi i'm Michael and i'm living in colliers wood since 2005. I use to go spice of raj since I living here. I got a very good service from this restaurant. My wife and kids are fans of spice of raj. They like chicken ticka massala, which is a mild indian curry. I like naga chicken chilli very much, such a curry I never eaten before. So I would like to recommend you all to come spice of raj to enjoy your evening meals.

My wife is pregnant and likes a curry, so takeout it is!

Can not comment on the service as we had it delivered, The food is great, my only concern is my wife might get curry cravings and we will be ordering every night!

I recently visited Spice of Raj for the first time. Greeting and service was amazing even though I was taking away. Order only took about ten minutes. Food was fantastic with free popodarns.

Would totally recommend them to anyone and will definitely be going back! Thank you for a lovely dinner on a snowy white evening.

We visited on a Wednesday evening around 8 or 9 O'clock, the place was almost empty. We were greeted with lacklustre enthusiasm and charm and our waiter persisted in his efforts to push us to spend more money. This might have made sense, had the place been heaving, but for a couple grabbing a quick meal on a quiet Wednesday evening this was entirely inappropriate and rude.

The food was OK - it was relatively inexpensive and my hopes were not elevated by the ping of the microwave. The food was clearly not fresh and lacked flavour, apart from the naan breads which were actually very good.

Another positive was the selection of beers, wines and spirits, which can quite often be lacking in restaurants of this standard.

However, my meal was somewhat tainted by finding the corner of a foil-lined, cardboard packet. The initial response from the waiter was to laugh and shrug, and only on pressing the matter did I get a weak apology and explanation. Apparently it was the corner of a cream carton, which is surprising as my food did not contain any cream. Perhaps it is more likely to have been the corner of the packet from which my food came? They did very little to correct their mistake beyond saying sorry, I was possibly given an extra chocolate with the bill. This level of service might explain the lack of custom.

I would not visit again unless I was very, very hungry. However, restaurants are not for sustenance but for experience. I did not enjoy the experience.

I've lived in Colliers Wood for 12 years and have been going to Spice Of Raj ever since they opened. The food is sublime and the service fantastic, you can't go wrong with this place whether it's just for a mid week meal (or take away) or a special occasion. Recommended!

We've lived in the area for 7 years and the Spice of Raj is the only restaurant where we have never been disappointed by the quality of the food or the service. The staff are always attentive and friendly and the food always great.

I love this place with a passion - have suddenly become obsessed with curries after having found this little gem - and it's only a couple of mins form my flat - yay! The chaps are sweeties and the Balti Chicken Tikka Massala is a winner x

I've eaten about 5 times at the restaurant and just can't get enough. The food is fantastic, and the service just as great.

The restaurant is small but gives it a pretty cosy feel... Recommended any day..
