My Review
2 out of 10 stars
Our group of five met for a pre-theatre meal at Sway in combination with seeing Joseph, the musical on bank holiday Monday. We arrived on time at 6pm and were seated. Our order was taken from a set menu within a few moments. Since this was a combination offer, the restaurant was aware that most patrons were attending the theatre and needed to be served promptly. Unfortunately, neither the waitress nor the manager knew how to handle the situation when NONE of our food arrived until almost 7:30pm when we should have been at the THEATRE! They never informed us that things were running late in the kitchen until we got up several times to ask about the food. The waitress mostly avoided us and never apologized. How long does it take to cook a burger and chips which four of us had ordered?! Never go there if you hope to see a theatre show on time. We ended up missing the first half of the performance as we hurried our food and left. Service was the worse I have ever experienced in London. Sway is at least a fifteen minute walk to the Adelphi Theatre.
