I really like that one. tested most of restaurants in brick lane area but that seems to be best in termas of service and food taste . Could be nicer inside but still great

We started out with the plan to visit all the restaurants on Brick Lane.

We got through over 15 of them and then found this one.

We love the service, quality of the food and most of all the £9.95 deal where you can have popadoms, starter, main course, side dish with a naan or rice along with a drink!

WE have never had a bad curry here and most other places have a limited menu for their buffet deals.

This restaurant has changed hands since the previous review was written. While not the best I've ever experienced, the food is now generally pretty good, and the service quick and friendly. Certainly well above average for the Brick Lane area.

I have just had dinner with my friends at Alishaan. We were solicited into the restaurant by being offered a 30% discount but the staff was utterly rude to us when it came time to pay.It seemed they were regretting offering us the discount.They were non courteous and went to the extent of telling us to 'get lost'.All this for me asking a simple explanation for a badly hand written bill.Would never recommend anyone who does not want his self respect to be compromised to go to this restaurant.The food was pathetic as well.My worst dining experience till now.Such places should perhaps shut down as they are a burden on society and a reason to spoil someone's evening.A total disgrace.
