Mahdi

Mahdi restaurant is definitely one of the best restaurants Iv been to. I visit it every fortnight and always go home filled and satisfied! The food is fresh and the service is brilliant! It is an excellent place to take the family out. I would recommend this to anyone who loves middle eastern food.

Mahdi is one of the Best Restaurants i have ever been to and i just keep on comming back time and time again.
Food is Fantastic in a wide range of flavours.
was at school locally and the specials were perfect and extremely generous when on a buget. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are really kind and friendly.
Cannot say enough in praise of this place...been going for nearly three years now an used to go a couple of times a week ehen i was near by.

comparing to other iranian restaurants they are not cheap at all and the food is dirty and microwaved rather than fresh.

food too dry,too expesive

Went to mahdi restaurant with teh whole family and we found it to be northing short of excellent. The food was sublime! the rice and shish kebab were nothing short of excellent. The tadik (starter) with gheyme or ghorme sabzywas brilliant.

This restaurant is excellent. I was invited by friends and had an excellent evening.
Food, way too much! Would have fed 8 not the 4 we were.
The food was ordered by my friend; a selection of 5 starters; the bread was so good, they even gave me some to bring home. After being warned not to eat too much of the starters, they brought us even more hot starter - a rice cake with two toppings; one lamb and kidney beans the other lamb,lentils in some sort of tomato sauce - both were excellent.
Then came the main course; 4 plates full of different rice - all cooked just right and so good; salad and the grilled meat - lamb, chicken, kofte, lamb cutlets

This place is excellent
