I must say Pukka Brasseries is looking excellent with the new look. It has its own unique look as well the excellent customer service to complement it. I was overwhelmed with the high standard of customer care and atmosphere of the place. The waiters whre very entertaining and made my even more enjoyable. The food was OUTSTANDING and i will highly recommend individuals to go and try it out,as my second time experence was fab and i will definitely re-visit Pukka again.

Visited this facility with my wife 2:22pm Sunday 24th Oct 2010. The venue was empty. It took until 2:50pm before we were served our starters. There was no attention to detail or any hint of interest or concern from staff members. I had to alert one of them that the CD they were playing was jumping every 20 seconds and was highly annoying! The staff never noticed a thing until I highlighted this!
The waiter did not take time out to explain any special offers that were advertised on the'A'Board outside. The decore was pleasant, but a nasty draft of cold air kept my wife and I very cold and tense throughout our stay there. The service was slow. The main course took ages to arrive and fell cold very swiftly. The flavours I was anticipating from the cuisine failed to materialise and we were very disappointed. Staff were utterly unconcerned about our welfare and welbeing. I would NEVER visit this facility or recommend it to anyone. We should have followed our instincts and carried on walking when we saw that it was empty of clientelle. We can see why this was the case. I give 3/10 because the pineapple juice was refreshing and the popadoms and relish were good. The lamb was tough and under-cooked. The chicken had no flavour. Disappointing.

Stumbled across this place while out looking for something to eat after the cinema trip with my family, after looking inside seeing it fairly empty had my doubts but entered anyway seeing as they had a 50% discount on. Tried, tested and passed. Food was great Staff were great just needs a décor revamp and it’ll be a 5 star in my books and will definitely visit Pukka again. To anyone with doubts try now while there’s a discount on main course, nothing to lose!!

For a super selection of Indian delicacies then look no further than Pukka Brasserie in super sunny Streatham! I have visited this establishment at least 20 times and have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent, served in good time and piping hot, the service is always friendly and reponsive. Not sure what to order...the staff will always give advice on what is best suited to your particular taste.
For a special treat go on a special themed night....I have witnessed the glory of an Elvis night and an ABBA night, both were out of this world and unforgettable!

Top-notch Indian food - by far the best in the area, and all at a reasonable price.

They have an interesting menu too, not just the usual vindaloo/bhuna/korma stuff (although they do also have that), but they've clearly put some effort into the menu.

Great, fresh food, friendly but not intrusive waiters, and the bottom line, all make this the place to eat Indian food in Streatham.

The food at this place is really tasty. The flavours are authentic and the whilst the food always takes a little to arrive, I know it's been freshly cooked and the cuts of meat are succulent and quality.

Occasionally it can be a little on the oily side, but they seem like an accommodating and friendly family run place, so I'm sure they could cook it anyway you'd like.

The best bit is the price. They do great discounts for takeaways early in the week, but generally the cost is brilliant - a biryani with acoompanying veg curry is about £6 and it's big enough to serve 2 quite easily.
