Something quick and simple before a theatre show.
Dishes here are very classic items in chinese palces.

If they served more classic Hong Kong diner items that would be a hit. Hong Kong diners are famous for their strong silk strained teas and coffees made with condensed milk. A strong punch of tea followed by a creamy finish. Other classic drinks include lemon and honey, hot coca cola etc.
A classic Hong Kong diner would normally serve dolly noodles, hot sandwiches etc. Which is great for the busys in London

The service appalling, i hadn't finished my drink and the women had placed the bill onto my table! Next the bill was £9.70 which had included the VAT. I still managed to finish my drink before placing £10 onto the bill plate, but got NO CHANGE back, and also before i left the table, the women had already prepared to give a menu out for the next customer, although there was a queue because it was busy, you can't kick customers out because they haven't finished. VERY BAD SERVICE, DON'T GO

HK Diner is like no other in London. The only place I can find in the city where it offers genuine Hong Kong food & Bubble Tea hurrahh!!! However, this place is excellent value with nice service, but be warn this place is pack most of the time , even until it close at 4 am !!! This will certainly become my local Chinese from now on, especially when we're living in such an unstable economy...I will be paying them a visit more often. Always full of Chinese people...so I guess they must be doing something right. Give it a go.

I went here today for lunch...I didnt have to wait long to be seated. The staff were really friendly and poliet and made me feel welcome..The music chinese music they played put me in a good mood ...I ordered plain noodles with bean sprout...which was OK..nothing special...but my friend ordered the noodles with prawns which he loved...The food didnt take long to arrive and it was presented well. The food was quite cheap, both our meals only came up to £22.50..thats 2 main courses and 2 side dishes and drinks...it was pleasant overall :] would reccommend it for a quick lunch :]
