I ordered lamb tandoori (takeout) today. When I opened the bag I was surprised to see about 5 small pieces of lamb and a tiny bag of dead looking salad with ONE piece of tomato, 1 piece of cucumber, and a few shreds of cabbage. The lamb itself was overcooked, dry, and cold. NEVER COME HERE

Awful experience. Food took ages & when they messed up our order they were unapologetic & tried to blame us going so far as to bring over a menu to point at what we asked for which only proved our point-though still we didn't get an "I'm sorry". By the end of the evening the staff became aggressive & began snatching our credit cards out of our hands. DO NOT GO!!

With so many restaurants to choose from in Brick Lane, Curry Capital, set apart from the rest is a surprising joy.
The staff are welcoming and the food is excellent. There is no outside pressure from touts as you get from further down the Lane and I can safely say that having eaten there at least 6 times in the last 3 months my guests and I have never had a bad meal.
The tables in the windows are the best to take in the view of Brick Lane.

The service was appalling ( they forgot that we had ordered a starter with only 5 full tables seated in the restaurent ), didn't replace cutlery between courses, the food took ages to come, and when it did they had used margerine instead of butter on the Nan, the curry itself was entirely bland and lacked any evidence of fresh ingredients. In a word appalling overall, compounded by the fact that they have the cheek to be pretty pricey into the bargain.

This curry house is reasonably priced however the service is bad, the waiters make you feel uncomfortable, The food was one of the worst currys I have ever tasted and a real let down. Be careful if you do go here as they give you extras that you didnt ask for i.e extra portions of rice and try to make you pay. Not a good experience at all. I will not be returning

It's was brilliant. Excellent food at a reasonable price.
