I love the gusto of Indian, Turkish and Italian dishes, and now my tasting of Greek food at Yialousa’s has offered something with yet more distinct flavours. Perhaps it was just the combination of tender meat, fresh vegetable and good wine, but whatever, for me it was original and extremely tasty. The waitresses were helpful and efficient and the ambience cheerful. I highly recommend it.

At Yialousa I ate herb sprinkled stuffed peppers served with a ladle-size portion of soured cream and a fresh mixed salad on the side. All very delicious. I joined a Greek friend there for lunch, and he ordered some very meaty Greek items. My friend, George, had me tasting everything he had chosen for himself; and I'm glad I tried it all, because all the food, his and mine was delicious, fresh, tasty, top-notch cooking. Both our meals were outstanding.

This place is one of the worst restaurants I have been in my entire life.
We ordered grill (which is the simplest food to cook) and it was dry and tasted horribly. The atmosphere is also awful. The tables and chairs must date back from the 70's, most of them are broken. There are stains on the carpet, cheap paintings on the walls and bad service, especially from the Chinese manager.

As a Greek, I am warning you this is NOT a Greek restaurant. If you want Greek food in London try anywhere else.

I was here in november 2010 and I have to say, I quite liked it. It's a nice, small restaurant and the people who work there, are very kind and give very good service. You get a lot of good food and it is not expensive at all! Good for me as a tourist, since London can be very expensive. I can really advise you to take a kebab and don't miss out the deserts!

My rule is to never trust an empty room with a desperate convener hanging out the front door accosting passers by but my companion was craving Greek food.

It was very very bad, greasy lamb with frozen peas/carrots/corn and ‘roasted’ potatoes of the consistency of being stewed in grease. I suspect that the whole thing had been sitting pre plated and microwaved....

Insult to injury was a service charge

I've been there three times, once on my own, once with a friend and once with a party of 23. All the times I've been utmost satisfied with the food as well as the price and service.
