2nd time to call here in the last year for their pre-theatre 2 course meal at £13.50. This time round the starter was delicious, opting for the Moroccan sausage. However, main course was not as good. Minute steak was very fatty and grizzly. Hardly any meat on it. Chips were disappointing, McDonalds skinny things not proper large chips. Still hungry after this but opted for dessert in Wetherspoons across the road as their desserts on offer were £5+. The soup is always nice, but even their chicken breast comes sometimes on the bone!

Good food, nice setting, however, service was spoilt due to rather irate member of staff, not happy at us not leaving the apparently discretionary 12.5% tip that was added to the bill. This member of staff chose to follow us out onto the street to remonstrate, which was disapointing and suprising behaviour from what we thought was a good restaurant. Will not be returning.

I went to the Med Kitchen with friends for a pre-theatre meal - we had about an hour in which to have our meal but managed to have 2 courses plus coffee without feeling like we were rushing at all. The menu is fairly extensive and while the dishes are fairly simple, they are done well and good value. The place was full, even at 6pm on a Thursday, but there were enough waiting staff to deal with everyone promptly and with a smile. I'd definitely recommend it. Good food, good service, good value!
