Booked a party of 10 people and gave my debit card info for the reservation. Everyone turned up and they forced us to choose from a fixed menu which required everyone to pay at least £40 each.
They refused to offer the a la carte menu for parties of over 6 people, they failed to mention this when I made the reservation.
We only wanted to order 4 of these fixed menu deals which we know would have filled everyone up, but they did not let us get away with ordering any less than one per person.
We ended up leaving without making any orders, Pasha went ahead and debited £200 from my card anyway, £20 per head, even if their conditions for this charge was clearly if NO ONE TURNED UP (everyone arrived). We just chose not to eat there!

This has to be the worst restaurant i've been too since I moved to london.
Service, was poor, a handful of times they delivered the wrong food to our table, they were extremely rude throughout the meal.

The food itself was also bad, I've never had such a tasteless tagine, you do not get your moneys worth.

They added extras to the bill which we hadn't ordered, or were supposed to come with the meal anyway and therefore we shouldn't have been charged for them.

I would not recomend this place to anyone.

rushed from beginning to end. we were expected to guess that there was anything other than the over-priced set menu

Beautiful decor but from my experience that is about it. I went there with my wife on a Wednesday evening. It was quite busy. We were given a wobbly table that could not be fixed in the end. Staff were clearly more attentive to bigger groups. When they eventually took our orders they brought one of two starters first, then one of the two drinks we'd ordered and after a few reminders the other drink. By then we'd finished the starter that had arrived first. Second starter eventually arrived by which time we had gone off the idea and asked them to take it back. We had salmon and lamb shank. Salmon was extremely dry and bland and the lamb not very nice either. Both very small portions and needed side orders but the menu did not give that impression. The wobbly table also made it very unconfortable to sit there so we couldn't wait to get out. Asked for the bill and they had added 15% service charge which we didn't pay as there was none. Quite expensive as well. And by the way the other good thing about the place was that they brough us a lovely big jug of ice cold water which was appreciated. And finally there were some spices on a small plate inside tissue paper on the table and when we asked what is inside the waiter explained: salt, cumin and "weight paper"! "Weight paper" we asked? Yes said the waiter "weight paper". It was actually white pepper and that was quite funny. As for this website it is great to have this facility as most other sites do not allow negative comments as they obviously get business from the restaurants!
