Patterson's is a highly acclaimed restaurant run by the Patterson brothers, with Thomas front of house and Raymond in the kitchen. The cuisine is of a high standard and includes dishes such as smoked haddock soufflﾎ with chive caviar sauce and tournedos of beef with foie gras and wild mushroom cannelloni. The service is efficient and the decor is cool modern with high backed leather chairs and dimmed lighting.

Patterson's is by far my favourite restaurant in London. Run by the Patterson family it is at once friendly, personal, welcoming, stylish and consistenlty excellent. The restaurant is elegant and quiet - no music. The menu changes regularly. The choice of dishes and ingredients is astonishingly varied - modern English cooking at its best. Neither I nor any of my guests has ever had a dud dish. The wine list is reasonably priced and well chosen. The bread rolls are home baked and delicious. I recommend it without hesitation for a business meal, or for a romantic occasion - or for a solitary meal over a good book. The lunch menu (£10 for a main course, and starters and desserts at £5 each) represents outstanding value. Since I discovered Pattersons, I would sooner eat there than anywhere else in London.
