The other review (quite possibly the restaurant manager?) saying nice decor was correct...though everything else was a shambles...A SHAMBLES! I have never been somewhere that reminded me soooo much of my little brothers first attempt at cooking for the entire family in preparation for his home economics exam! A fumbled attempt at catering for 30 people on a very special occasion was fated from the start as the tiny kitchen could not handle this large booking and even with a set menu it was blatantly obvious they should never have took the booking in the first place for this many people.
It started like this...when we first walked in and our prebooked table for 8pm wasnt ready...30 minute wait...

Starter...some 'jerk'? chicken wings...the attempt at jerk was quite possibly Levi roots sauce squirted on the top of a few bland looking pre cooked anorexic chicken wings.
Seriously long wait for main for everyone...
Main... Beef stew in a filo pastry basket with rice... mine came out at least 30minutes after everyone elses dinner...i was told all the rice had been bought to the table with everyone elses dinner and had been eaten by the hoards of hungry people unsure as to when the next ordered bit of food would arrive...but the waitress 'kindly' bought me more.
Back to the beef...bland fatty and displayed in a oily basket...gross.
Dessert...ice cream? or the pretence of getting some ice cream...waiting a hour to be told it had melted in the freezer so there was no dessert.

But they kindly gave us £2 off each meal!? geee £2 OFF ARE YOU SERIOUS?
If it hadnt been such a special occasion I would have walked out.

Please dont go there in large groups..maybe its better if there is just a few of you but be warned...
