This wasn't the best buffet I've been too. The service was extremely poor. We were not greeted upon entry; just "take a seat, wherever"! I enjoy trying different foods from other cultures, from an inexperienced person, like myselfs perspective, there were no clear labels as to what, each item was or is - not a fan of fish but I accidentally tasted it - believing it was chicken Korma. People suffer from allergies, and this place could potentially get into trouble - if the food isn't clearly, stated. We also, asked for tap water and the lady said don't worry she'll bring it over - she just left the water on top of the counter - we had to ask another member of staff, who kindly brought some over.
Don't get me started on the toilets - not nice at all, very dirty. Looked like vomit in the sick. Clearly, the toilets aren't regularly cleaned or looked after. The food was just OK - they beed to improve on customer service. That's how you make the money right??!!

For the price that you are paying for an adult buffet and child buffet (£6.95 and £5.95) the selection is not too bad at all.
The seating is fine, the service is also fine, however privacy from private large meetings disturbed us a little.
The food was hot and always being topped up, and we went on a Sunday.
I would recommend this to you.

Hello
Sonargaon Restaurant has one of the best authentic food i have enjoyed in london. I was hooked after giving it a try a few weeks ago. And i have been going there every weekend since. They have a pretty good variety of dishes going and i found all of them very tasty.
i have read a lot of complaints about about the staff being indifferent etc. We did not experience that. I would definitely recommend them

No, 0 STAR I would not recommend it There was no listed 'no' selection box.late food, disgusting seats with dried bogey or curry, unfriendly staff and without smiles... when asked for cutlery no attempt was made to go and get some, the response I got was there is no more, there were dirty plates and glasses and when asked for a new glass, she said that all the glasses were out and pointed at one with a visible stain on to drink from that and walked off with a rude attitude. soon she was back and told me she was going to wash the glass, instead she came back with another dirty one, do NOT go!

Hi, I have been coming here for several years now. As an Indian loving indian food I always try different restuarant whereever I go.
And to be honest with you most of my visits to this restuarant was nice & cool.
Yes their food is not perfect everytime but much better than lots of others.

The food is absolutely awful.
Foods not cooked properly and doesn’t taste fresh and some dish has no salt or too much salt and rude staff. I went there once before and it was okay but after my last experience I won’t go back there again.

I went in here last night despite the bad reviews, mainly because I walked past this place on the way back from work and always found it rather busy. I must admit I was surprised by the choice, over 50 dishes/side orders to choose from. For an absolute carnivore as I am I was grateful for the amount of meat based dishes available. Warning to curry veterans though, this is Indian Indian, not Indian made for the English palate as a mate pointed out, but despite this, the food was still really good and for £6.95 a head its a bargain! And unlike a lot of Indian restaurants I didnt suffer with the dreaded curry hangover that some places give you, I was full, I was happy! People have complained about the lacking of customer service, but people, this is a serve yourself all you can eat, you come here for the food, you dish it yourself so how much customer service do you really need! If your expecting them to chew your food for you and entertain you whilst you eat, go to Gauchos instead! All in all this is the prostitute of the Indian All you can eat buffets, You go in, you eat, pay and go. Bish bash bosh, done!! Great place!! Will be returning soon!

This restaurant cheated me out of my money. We booked a date for a party and paid a deposit of hundreds of pounds, due to unforeseen cirsumstances the booking had to be cancelled and they refused to refund the money. Even refused me a partial refund or even allow me and my family to come and eat to make up for it. Instead it was a out right refusal and they kept all me cash without providing a service. This was an absolute disgrace, thinking of legal action now. How could you take hundreds of pounds deposit and not provide a service or refund even after cancellation. They kept all the money without providing the service, they cheated me.

The food was ordinary at best but what ruined the experience was the extremely bad service. One of the worst services that we've ever experienced considering it was a buffet.
