About Nobu Berkeley
Sister of the famous Nobu restaurant in Park Lane, the highly acclaimed Nobu Berkeley operates a no-reservations policy and as such attracts large queues outside. The ground floor houses a large bar serving drinks until 2am, while upstairs there is a 200-cover restaurant featuring a sushi bar, wood-burning oven and a 12-seater hibachi table where guests can cook their food with the assistance of a chef.

5 out of 10 stars
We were disappointed this evening with our first visit to this restaurant. We ordered hot /cooked meals.
One of our party of four was served her scallop meal over five minutes before the other guests received their salmon teryiaki by which time she had finished her course. The misto soup was served alongside the main course. It would have been nicer to have had the soup brought first.
The salmon was overcooked. The scallops were reportedly delicious.
The chocolate tart was scrumptious.
Otherwise the ambience was spoilt by noisy fellow guests and it was difficult to hear ourselves speak.
Overall we felt we were in a canteen and not in the smart restaurant we anticipated.
