we went to caffe piccolo chiswick with friends we had the most delicious italian food my seabass was great and the staff were very nice and we had a lovely time and I noticed they have been awarded the 5 stars for hygiene we definitely will go back again sm

Piccolo was rated highly by reviewers on one of the other websites we visit, so we decided to give it a go. I think this restaurant is good if you dont have much experience in eating out. Some one should really tell the chef that garnishing plates went out in the late 90's - especially with sliced tomato. The food is okay, but in a strip that has so much to choose from it really needs to be better than just okay to get return business (from me anyway). I had a Pizza which was not bad but could have done with some fresh herbs on it... My Wife had the Lamb shank with rissoto which was really just lamb shank and rice - and some nice slices of tomato! All in all a very average experience.
