Saturday me and my boyfriend had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant.
I had seen the Osteria in the past and never had the chance to try it also because honestly it looked a bit expensive, but this seemed to be the right time to give it a go for the first time.
I am Italian and overall it felt like I was having a typical weekend lunch in one of the Italian osterie in Italy.
We had a wonderful minestrone (you could taste it was homemade), two meals where the seafood was really fresh and tender, a couple of glasses of wine, bottle of water and the bill? £26.30 for 2 people!!!
The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable, not much natural light maybe to make the atmosphere more relaxing (it was cloudy anyway).
Compared to other more known "real" Italian Restaurants we think this was good quality and really worth the money.
We have found our restaurant and we decided that when we want to eat out we will go there again and maybe we will also organise something with friends.

Osteria Del Portico is welcoming restaurant serving traditional Italian cuisine, with a good sized outside area to sit out in during the summer months.
