The Gilgamesh Bar-Restaurant-Lounge provides a unique and dramatic backdrop for wining, dining and entertaining in the capital. With its beautifully handcrafted interior – from lavish furnishings to walls adorned with hand-carved stone murals and exquisite sculptures – all inspired by Gilgamesh and his ancient Babylonian kingdom. Offset with a sharp, modern, glass exterior, fully retractable roof and Ian Pengelley’s superb contemporary pan-Asian cuisine. The design and essence of Gilgamesh’s ancient palace is recreated and Gilgamesh myth brought to life, to provide an entertaining space – for both daytime and night time!

Gilgamesh is more than a restaurant it is a total experience..whenever I have friends visiting me in London I always take them to Gilgamesh as it really has the WOW factor..its totally awesome.
The interior decor is incredible..it even has a retracting ceiling!! The food is out of this world!! THe Head Chef Ian Pengelley does what he does best..his signature dishes such as Duck and Watermelon Salad and Rock Shrimp Tempura have been my favourites since his days launching E&O..YUM!!!
I was lucky enough to experience one of Pengelley's masterclasses it was fab! We were treated like real rookey chefs with our own whites, we learnt all about the food and wine matching...great birthday gift
