Causing a ripple in the quiet cobbled back streets is the newest shining addition to Mayfair, the beautiful Mews of Mayfair. Founders James Robson and Robert Nearn have joined forces with critically acclaimed chef David Selex (The Grocer on Warwick and The Sugar Club) and restaurateur Kurt Zdesar (Nobu London, Ping Pong) to create lounge, cocktail bar, restaurant and a chef's dining room for dedicated foodies.
The theme is modern English style, with dishes on the menu reflecting countries of the former British Empire. Look out for the oversized antique maps of the British Empire in the Chef's Dining Room.

I've been here twice now, once for an anniversary and once for a business lunch and both times the service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The only thing that slightly let it down was that I had to give up my table after 2 1/2 hours. Make sure you save room for dessert because there's a devil masquerading as a penut crustada something which is heavenly!
