Went to Souk on Friday night with a group of five, and was quite disappointed. With no other choice, we went for the set menu, which at £15 a head sounds quite reasonable - I don't think it was. For the main course we only got one bowl of couscous between the five of us and considering three of us are vegetarian, we only got one bowl of vegetables and a small soup that would have been suitable. Aside from this, the service was quite slow (although this I can understand for a Friday night). After our 'dessert' (mint tea), we were asked if we'd like another round of drinks, only to be asked to leave less than five minutes after being served them. Wouldn't go back there again. |
