Our favourite restaurant. Not sure about letting it get too popular, though. Food fantastic, proprietors and staff wonderful and prices very fair. Ian

Dropped in after seeing "Shoes" at the Peacock theatre. Downstairs was closed so we ate upstairs.
Food was excellent (the chef seems to like strong flavours).
Service was excellent. (I don't understand the adverse comments)?
We shall definitely go there next time we go to the Peacock Theatre.
Thoroughly recommended.

This restaurant, although good, isn't quite there when it comes down to service.
I've been twice now, and on both occasions the service was poor to say the least. One member of staff took a complete dislike to my table and seemed to avoid us like the plague.
I have since opted for the local Italian places on Sicilian Avenue, where the prices are extremely good and the service is excellent.
I would recommend Coopers on the premise that the food is very good, but service leaves a lot to be desired.

A great little restaurant, consistently good food and efficient, friendly service. Always works well for for business lunches in the upstairs (ground floor) restaurant.

Great food, terrible service.
Very rude staff - we shan't be visiting again.

I have neen a regular for a few years and think it is an excelent place for a business lunch or a more romantic dinner. Food and service are always excellent and prices reasonable. Try to be seated upstairs if you can.

Have been to Coopers on 5 seperate occassions now for lunch and have never been let down. Good quality food served quickly and by attentive staff in a comfortable setting.
Can be a little quiet downstairs if you go for an early lunch but, generally there is a good buzz in the place (upstairs and downstairs) with excellent food and wine.
I can definately reccommend it.
