Little India

My teen son and I ate a late lunch here yesterday: lamb curry, tandoori butter chicken, eggplant balti, a small rice and naan. Delicious, delicious delicious.

The shami kebabs came out looking and tasting like something you've found down the back of the sofa (due to the amount of rusk, I think). Both my husband and myself ordered our main from the speciality section. Mine was like baby food. My husband's came in a miniscule bowl with the main ingredient being tomato puree. Neither the popadoms or the nan bread appeared freshly cooked. Another diner at the back of the restaurant complained very loudly to the owner. His response was to say the restaurant was internationally known, for what I'm not sure.

I came to eat here with friends on the 10th Jan (2008) and ordered Lamb tikka. To my disgust I found a cyst oozing puss in one of the pieces of meat. Although the staff were apologetic and did not charge me for my meal, at the end of the day I was served cheap diseased meat. I shall never come here again and would advise people to stay away.
