Eat Tokyo

I am starting to become a regular at Eat Toyko, based in Soho. There are words going around that Misato (another japanese restaurant in London) is one of the cheapest japanese restaurant around and the portion is value for money and etc, but until I tried EAT TOYKO, I was so impressed with their attentive service, big menu (that comes with visual aids/pictures of almost every dish and portion on the menu). The food is above average and definately more original compared to Misato. And the best part is, the food here is cheaper. The portion is big enough. The Salmon Teriyaki for example, is so fresh and there was a nice and tender texture to it. The sashimi portions are reasonable and they only use sushi rice which is superb. The atmosphere is cosy and pleasant which is a bonus for me. Eat Tokyo is a little small japanese restaurant in one corner of a street and may be difficult to find, but once you take the effort to spot where it is, it's a decent place to go every weekend, for cheap GOOD japanese food. I'll definately recommend it..GREAT PRICES, VALUE FOR MONEY, GREAT JAP FOOD, DECENT COSY ATMOSPHERE....... definately my current favourite jap restaurant in central london (that's affordable)
